Day 2: Castles and Weddings

I heard that love is in the air today. I certainly felt the love from the German people as I waited by the gas station in Munich yesterday. To my surprise, there were about 12 people waiting and willing to give me a ride. I am so thankful for my new friends Bernd and Martin who buckled me into their car and helped me to reach my first destination: Neuschwanstein Castle.

Neuschwanstein Castle had some spectacular views. I met some curious people who were also there to check out the beautiful sights. I meant the castle not me, of course. I even got to dip my boots in some snow, which reminded me of home.

In the afternoon I hitched another ride: I had to hurry since I was invited to attend a wedding near Frankfurt in the evening. I forgot how much fun weddings are: I just love to see how people dance and celebrate. Just like at home in Canada.

Be sure to follow my German adventure on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram. My friends at Galileo will also be sharing videos of my trip, so check them out.
